Routine follow-up appointments and medication refills can be done via video and telephone consultation with Dr. Cohen on a daily basis as well. Beginning immediately, we will also be available for video and telephone consults for new and existing patients. According to new guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Medical Association (AMA), these remote visits are covered by most PPO insurance and Medicare plans, and are billed as regular office visits. In accordance with CDC guidelines, we have implemented the proper infection control protocols to reduce the risk of the spread of COVID-19. We are closely following all the latest guidance from the CDC and other authorities.
