In the darkest times, the voices of the prophets spoke of God’s sovereignty over world events and offered hope to the faithful. Today she vulnerably shares the spiritual battle that wages inward and outward and how to face these battles with faithful discipline. She points to Colossians 2:8 as a concrete warning to not allow ourselves to get caught up in seeking material and worldly fulfillment. God has given us every tool we need to live rooted in Him. As I listened to Ally I was reminded of 1Tim 4:12, "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity."
