SF/Oakland Chapter 13.12.2020

Every January 28th, the people of Armenia and Artsakh commemorate Army Day to pay homage to heroic Armenian soldiers who lost their lives defending our homeland. **It is almost four months to the day that the Artsakh War began.** The War rocked our community to its core. They thought it would bring us to our knees. Help SOAR show the world the power of the Armenian community as we get every family back on their feet.... Today, SOAR honors fallen soldier MAKSIM SARGSYAN who - only 30-years-old - gave his life for our nation on November 2 in Berdzor. Sponsor Maksim's family today and help provide crucial assistance for their basic needs: wwwsoarusorg.reachapp.co/sponsors/family-of-maksim-sargsyan His wife, Nanar, and 1 1/2 year-old son lived in Aknakbyur, which is now under Azeri control. They are currently living with Maksim's parents in a hotel in Stepanakert. Join SOAR in our mission to assure the children of fallen Armenian soldiers are NEVER institutionalized.
