Thumbelina Thursday! Thumbelina is 5 years, 7 months old, has mild cerebellar hypoplasia (CH) and is sponsored by Michael Snider. SNAP Cats rescued Thumbelina from Silicon Valley, CA. Thumbelina has very mild CH, so mild that sometimes it’s hard to tell she has it at all. She craves attention. No one can enter the room without Thumbelina rushing over to say hello and solicit pets. Of the three siblings Thumbelina, Marvelina and Athena Thumbelina is definitely the most out...going. She gets along fine with other cats, but not sure about dogs. HOWEVER, Thumbelina currently does not like to use the litter box. This adorable little 3 month old is Winona. She is visually impaired and sponsored by Barbara McMahon. SNAP Cats rescued Winona from Rohnert Park, CA. Winona is a little spitfire. Although half the size of her roommates, she takes them head-on when it comes to play and fun. Winona needs eyelid surgery to remove a few eyelashes growing into her cornea, so this will take place in early Nov. (2020). After that, she’ll be free to be adopted. This is Little Bit. He’s about 10 years-old. Little Bit was evacuated from Lake County during the recent fires, and placed at Milo Sanctuary in Willits. He was then evacuated again from Milo Sanctuary when the fires raged there, and sent to Milo’s Richmond facility where he has been crouching in a cage and very scared ever since. Little bit is in the beginning stages of renal failure and needs a rescue where he can decompress, stretch his legs, and get the attention and love ...he needs and deserves. Little Bit will be arriving today at about 2pm. New Kuwaiti Kids! These three lucky cats are on their way to SNAP Cats from our rescue partners in Kuwait. Beji (orange and white) is 8 months-old and blind due to his tough life on the streets. Sparrow (black) is 6-1/2 years-old and also blind. And Kobe (brown tabby) is 3 years-old, had entropion surgery, and is FIV+. All three will be landing at SFO Monday at about 4:30pm.
