Today we would like to feature one of our own incredibly talented team members, Lauren M. She is an experienced Project Manager and currently holds the title of SOP and Training Manager, AKA the Queen of SOPs. Oftentimes when we say the word ownership, people think it refers to taking the blame for their mistakes or owning up to something. While of course that is one way to look at it, we at SMC see it differently. We believe in giving our team the freedo...m and flexibility to create, develop and enhance the position they are in or to even create a new one if they see a need. To us, ownership is taking the initiative to bring about positive results. It means not waiting for others to act, and caring about the outcome as much as an owner of the company would and Lauren embodies this completely. We saw a strong need for developing our SOPs and she stepped right in and took the lead. She has been cranking out beneficial policies and procedures left and right and is doing a phenomenal job. Hard to believe that someone could be so passionate about creating SOPs and yet, she exists.and she is all ours! Lauren loves many things including gourds and golden retrievers. Recently she lost one of her precious pups and we wanted to pay tribute to the gorgeous Gracie who would appear during Zoom calls and even made friends with other local co-worker's pups.
