Missionaries of the Week: (03/07-03/08) Dave and Miriam Kanagy have served with TEAM in Brazil since 1991. They grew up on the mission field and met while coaching sports teams at Christian High. They served at Camp Nova Vida, and then in 2008 planted a church in the city of Catalao. Dave and Miriam's vision is to "Help the Brazilian Church have a greater part in the Great Commission." Until very recently when medical needs surfaced, Dave was working with Brazilian pastors t...o develop effective evangelism and discipleship strategies and working with men at a rehabilitation center. Miriam too, was discipling and teaching women biblical counseling skills in both formal and informal settings. The Kanagy’s desire to prepare more Brazilians to do the work of the ministry both in Brazil and through outreach to countries where North American missionaries are no longer welcome. Currently Miriam and Dave are here with us in El Cajon, please pray for them as Dave battles pancreatic cancer. See more

As a web developer, Stephen Narwold had skills that were desperately needed at Ethnos360’s home office in Florida. His desire to serve overseas as a church plan...ter created a great dilemma within him, as his perspective of what a missionary is began to be shaken. Check out this video to see Stephen’s choice unfold and how God is using him now to further the gospel!

Missionary of the Week (02/29-03/01): Lloyd Marsden has served as a missionary in Papua New Guinea since 1992 with SIL International, a partnering organization of Wycliffe Bible Translators. Lloyd's ministry of serving as an aviation maintenance engineer is vital to keeping the fleet of planes and helicopters in good operating condition. These aircraft transport translators and supplies to tribal locations in Papua New Guinea, averaging over 4,000 flying hours per year. Please pray for Lloyd as he works in the Avionics shop, while keeping his 23 mechanic-related licenses current, which are critical for safety and for meeting government regulations in PNG. Also please pray for more airplane specialists to join the team and for strength and health as he serves.
