Today’s Home Workout Video will focus on our mid section (core). It is going to be important to maintain a tight midline while performing the movements. You will do this by squeezing your abs. Your breathing will be a focus point today, I want you to try and control your breathing as well as breath deep. In through your nose, out through the mouth. Movements and Scales: 1. Tuck-Up (scale will be sit up)... 2. Side Plank R/L (scale will be keeping opposite hand on ground) 3. Elbow Plank (scale will be push up position plank) We need to make these hurt, so each person’s time will be different. Our goal will be to get to the point where our muscles fatigue and then try and do a little more. It will be important as we continue on to know how to find that zone. Making things too easy is not beneficial and making things too hard will put you in a position to get hurt or lose form. Our goal for this workout will be: Tuck-up x 25 (or until you fatigue) Side Plank x 60 seconds Plank x 60 seconds I want to get through a total of 5 rounds. You can rest after all sets are completed. Usually a 90 second break is sufficient. Have a great workout and a good day! www.SanLorenzoBootCamp.com
Hey guys, hope you’re feeling well from Saturday’s workout. We focused our attention on isolated movements and combined those into a short circuit. We will continue with this to help us better reach our goal of full range of motion. I want everyone to remember a few things: 1. We want to hit full range of motion on all moments. If you cannot do that for certain movements we will have to work towards getting there by stretching. 2. If you have time during the week you should ...try and make it to the gym in Hayward, Ca. The more time we spend together the faster you will get better. 3. We need to start talking about your diet! We will start with small goals at first and build as the weeks go by. Our diets will be more beneficial than our workouts. 4. Try and do the workout videos I will be posting every Wednesday. Stay mentally tough each day by filling your mind with positive thoughts and encouraging words. Build yourself up and be your biggest supporter. Ill check in with you guys Wednesday! www.SanLorenzoBootCamp.com

Saturday was a good day for us. We took our time, reached full range of motion and found a load that was heavy for us. I'm interested to know how everyone is feeling today. I'm hoping you guys woke up sore. Our 2nd Boot Camp Session with H.A.R.D. is complete. Our new class is up on the website available for payment. Please take care of that before we meet again on Saturday. www.SanLorenzoBootCamp.com
Hey guys. This video is to help you prepare for tomorrow's workout. We will be working up in weight and our focus will be to find a moderate / heavy load for 10 reps. Please watch before tomorrow and we will see you soon! www.SanLorenzoBootCamp.com
Tomorrow I will post another video. This one takes us through what we will do Saturday for class. Make sure you guys check it out so you're prepared for class. I was very happy with the format last class and was happy to hear you guys were sore the next day. Have a great day. See you guys soon.
How long can you hold a plank? How about a side plank? The plank is a great way to build core strength while also working the extremities. The goal will be to do these for 1:00 without breaking or losing form. It will be hard and if you need to break it up, please do so. These planks should be performed at least 2x per week on your own at home. They can be done in your living room while watching tv so NO EXCUSES! These little things add up. Before you know it you'll be hold...ing a plank for 3 mins. Have a good day and a great workout. www.SanLorenzoBootCamp.com
