This a great opportunity to jump in and learn from the best: Farmer Frank's Mushrooms. In this class he will be teaching everything you need to know on starting to grow your own mushrooms, storing them, growing tips and his successful techniques. This class is an introduction for beginners or mushroom lovers that want to take their mushroom growing to the next level. In addition to Mushrooms, we will make a hot chocolate mushroom elixir to sip on in class from @GreenLoveelixirbar using tinctures and Farmer Franks mushrooms. This will be an amazing class you don’t want to miss. Bring a friend for a peaceful mushroom class on the farm. This season at SLO Creek Farms starting March 15, 2016 we have opened up a community permaculture design garden. This area will be designated for learning and g...rowing education in the community about permaculture design. This is a unique opportunity on a family owned CCOF organic certified farm. We also have Permaculture leadership opportunities for those of you who have studied permaculture and would enjoy guiding others and/or teaching classes of the concepts and ideas of permaculture design with their gardens. Each person gets one plot and everyone plans and gardens as a whole permaculture community. Sound fun? Email [email protected] for questions and applications. One plot per person/family. This is a hands on permaculture learning opportunity. If you love to garden and you are interested in Permaculture, this will be the perfect opportunity for you. It's $25 application fee and $100 for the season/ year. Note: it is in a flood zone area and is closed durning those possible times or garden at your own risk.
