Making your own sugared skull and putting your name on it is a tradition that is celebrated in Mexico every year during the day of the dead on November 2. Every child can’t wait to get there sugared school, much like kids can’t wait for their chocolate Easter bunny or candy cane. Are you Ready to play with death? To contemplate your mortality? To live life to the fullest remembering that this life Is full of uncertainty? Contemplating and keeping this awareness present, c...an and will bring more gratitude and joy! Nobel prize winner of literature in 1990, Octavio Paz, said. To the resident of New York, Paris, London, the word death is never pronounced because it burns the lips. The Mexican, however, frequents it, caresses it, sleeps with it, celebrates it, it is one of their favorite past times and most permanent love.. We will be bringing awareness and contemplation through ritual and fun activities at the full moon and the Day of the dead ceremony tonight at 5 pm @slobotanicalGardens. We only have two spaces left, if you’d like to join a small group of 12 people. Go to www.Auroraadventures.us/meditation or www.Slobg.org Aurora Adventures Dawn Feuerberg
