SLATE Art Consulting is delighted to have added four pieces from Oakland artist Kelly Ording's series "Eight Answers to a Problem" to the permanent art collection at 300 Lakeside Drive in Oakland. Thanks to The Swig Company for patronizing the arts, and to Pt.2 Gallery for working with us to make this possible. 300 Lakeside is open to the public during regular business hours and includes site-specific installations by Maya Kabat, Amy Ellingson, and Audra Weaser on the ground floor, as well as this series on the second floor.

As Art Consultants, our sourcing is not limited to the artists in SLATE Contemporary Gallery's roster. Case in point, SLATE Art Consulting's commission of an Amy Ellingson painting for the lobby at 300 Lakeside in Oakland last year, which we purchased on behalf of our clients, from Amy's dealer, Eli Ridgeway. When the same clients came back to us this spring looking for art to add color to an empty white wall on the second floor, we immediately thought of this series of paint...ings on paper by Kelly Ording that we had seen at Pt. 2 gallery in Oakland.
