"What I loved about my treatment is that first and foremost it didn't hurt (I'm a huge baby)," says SKY's VP Amber. "A couple of hours after the procedure my skin got very red but after 24 hours I was back to my normal self and skincare routine." "I loved getting this done!" shares SKY's treatment coordinator Kayla. "I can tell that my skin is smoother and I had some dark spots that are lightening. Super excited!" "My treatment went really well!" says SKY's receptionist Vanesa. "I was really red at first which is good because it means the treatment worked but by the next day that was mostly gone. I would definitely do this procedure again and I'm happy we're offering this service." Treatments are performed by Kristen, our nurse practitioner. Today, we're celebrating Sam's 3-year anniversary on the SKY Team! As our surgical technician, Sam is behind the scenes making sure everything is ready for each surgery. When Sam moved to San Diego 3 years ago, it was supposed to be temporary. At the time, San Diego was a sunny pit stop before moving to Japan. We're so happy she instead found a fulfilling home here in SD and on the SKY Team! Sam, we so appreciate your attention to detail, dedication, and the recent travel plans you've had to give up in order to keep our patients safe during COVID. We you! Happy 3 Year! #GoSKYTeam

Giving back is a big part of who we are at SKY. One of our favorite charities to give to is the FACE Foundation which provides financial support to families whose pets need life-saving medical treatment. We might be apart right now, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t celebrating! Today marks three incredible years that our Lead Surgery Coordinator Alexis has been a part of the SKY Team. You’ve probably met Alexis at some point in your experience at SKY and benefited from her depth of knowledge about our procedures. She guides all of our patients through their surgery process and is the best hand to hold whenever you feel nervous. Congrats on three amazing years, Alexis!
