Lots of snow in the forecast! We are expecting 10-20 inches tomorrow. Winter Storm Warning is in effect, traveling may be difficult. Please bring chains if you plan to travel. Note that the storm will continue during business hours, and the hardest part of travel may be leaving.

The temperature is dropping and the colors are coming out! Lots going on here at the park to get ready for the winter! Lift maintenance, bar renovation, COVID-19 planning, new website is being built... fall brings change.

How did you learn to ski? Comment if from a friend and if in ski lessons. If you want to take lessons this winter, please reserve your spot ahead of time online starting December 1st. Students of all ages can expect to see some changes relating to COVID-19 this winter, a screening and mask wearing can be expected. We will be flexible to changes through out the winter.

Its been a wild morning around here! @us_forest_service had a fire incident on Mount Shasta this morning. Thankfully we have a man made pond that we use to make snow in the winter, for them to use! The helicopter came by several times to fill their bucket. The fire is mostly contained at this time, again thanks to their fast reactions. We know our fire services are stretched and we are so grateful for their efforts here. THANK YOU FIRE FIGHTERS!
