When I say acne is normal, it doesn't mean I think we should embrace it and not try to heal, what I mean is that it's common to deal with in our modern society. If you've been following me for a bit, you know that I think it's a mostly a lifestyle issue and that genes are not fate. We can be agents of change (I find this so empowering!). It's not easy and it's not often quick, but I know that you can do it. Normalize acne is about removing the shame of having it. It's... common, a lot of people deal with it, and it's not our fault. If we fully knew what was breaking us out, chances are we'd avoid or remove it. Most of us don't because life is complicated and there are a lot of factors, triggers everywhere, and people who do the same thing and don't breakout. This is where I love to come in and help clear up confusion on those acne triggers! REPEAT AFTER ME... This message is so important, I'm saying it twice in a row! Our skin is honest to us. It lets us know if we are imbalanced, off track, or disrespecting our body. We cannot hide from it, cover it up, or slap makeup over that. And it is A GIFT.... Suffering with skin inflammation is a kind wakeup call from the body to send some love, care, and TLC in ASAP. If we choose to ignore the message... say hello to frustration as the problem continues. But if we choose to listen and course correct, say hello to living life in alignment with nature, the Universe, and waking up everyday excited to smile at ourselves in the mirror with pride and joy.
