3 spaces available in a Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course Fri/Sat 11/13-14 OR or Sat/Sun 11/14-11/15. --If you want to take it, please text me (see NASTC website) or email me [email protected] your availability those weekends. --Price will be $50-100 pp for 2 days (16 hr) depending on headcount. This is a 2 day course, 8 hours per day with a shortened 45 min lunch. Per ASHI & AHA regulations, only 10 students can attend each course.... Due to the fast paced nature of this course, 1 short reading assignment & easy quiz are required to be completed by students before the course starts. Due to yesterday’s closure of the Tahoe National Forest we have temporarily ceased our guided rock climbing operations. We want to thank all of the firefighters and emergency medical personnel working so incredibly hard in this unprecedented time. The USDA Forest Service announced a temporary closure of all eighteen National Forests in California. This decision will be re-evaluated daily as conditions change. Stay safe & be smart. We’re in this together people.

Every year since 1995 we’ve been lucky enough to take a large group of advanced skiers with us to @skiportillo the third week of August. 25 years! (Feeling old!) This year ofc we couldn’t, & we missed it with every bone in our bodies! The place is - in a word - magical. The people, the mountain, the snow quality/quantity, the hotel, food, hospitality, late nights in the bar & disco, pool, the Torta de Milhojas desert!! It’s all the stuff of memories and we can’t wait til we see you next year. @ Ski Portillo Chile
