Sacramento Korean Baptist Church English Ministry

We are happy to announce that we will begin gathering at our facilities in person on Sunday, June 7th after eleven (11) Sundays away. We will comply with the guidelines given to us by Sacramento County Health Department, the California Governor and CDC. We will only have 11 am worship service until further notice. No other congregation meetings will be held, no lunch provided. Face coverings are required as we maintain a 6-foot social distance between families. We will continue to upload sermons to the website for those unable to attend. Welcome back!!

We have started a ladies Bible Study! We are beginning with a 2-week study of James. We will meet on Sundays at 2:30 pm on Zoom, beginning this week, May 17th. It’s not too late to join us! Happy Mother’s Day!

Pastor Barry Bauer and Jayne shared in the delivery of flowers and hand sanitizer to mothers in our church today. We made the rounds to surprise a few folks! We kept our distance, but it was so good to see your friendly faces!! We can hardly wait until we can worship in the same room again. Happy Mother’s Day to all you moms out there!

While we are sheltered in our homes these days, this is a perfect time to peruse the history of the International Mission Board, that is celebrating their 175th anniversary this year. I like what Gateway Seminary President Jeff Iorg said, The IMB is, in many ways, the reason we exist as a denomination. We came together in 1845 in one sacred effort to communicate the gospel to everyone in the world and the IMB is our longest-tenured expression of that effort. Apparently, ...this is a historical masterpiece! Iorg said it took him 8 hours over 3 days to read through ALL the material! So forget Netflix binging - let’s do some IMB-binging!!
