It's amazing what community can do together! We partnered with @yourtaylorfarms this past week and they generously donated 30 Pallets of vegetables to our network. And in within a few days we were able to get those vegetables out within 24 hours to families in need. It was a truly daunting task to distribute that much quantity but with our circle of organizations and volunteers we made it happen. We are glad to be able to provide nutritional foods on conjunction with our typical non-perishable food in our kits. Our SJ Shipkit boxes made the front page of San Jose Mercury this morning! In conjunction with our partners at @hungerathome. It's always a great sight to see when our boxes land in the hands of families in need. With the lines up to 2 miles long the task for distribution is daunting but with so many great volunteers and great organizations to partner with we are definitely making a big impact.
