Our Hero highlight for today is Technical Sergeant Grayson Agpawa! TSgt Agpawa originally enlisted over 20 years ago and has been deployed several times across Europe and Asia. This year, he's been active in California since March #HeroesAppreciation | United Heroes League

Today’s Hero Highlight is Dan! In 2017, Dan was paired with his service dog Lake thanks to a partnership between Canine Companions for Independence and the Sharks Foundation and they dropped the puck on #HeroesAppreciation night The two are still together and cheering for the San Jose Sharks!

Next Hero Highlight up: Jesus Estrada! A Vietnam War Veteran, Jesus was visited by the Sharks Foundation back in 2018. With the help of Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley, volunteers painted his home for the first time in over 40 years and installed safety handrails #HeroesAppreciation

Today’s Hero Highlight is Hayden! With the help of Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area, he signed an honorary three-day contract and practiced with the San Jose Sharks in 2018! #HeroesAppreciation

Our next Hero Highlight is Sergeant Isiah Breaux! The Foundation partnered with Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley to repair the decorated WWII Veteran’s home back in 2017. Unfortunately, Sergeant Breaux passed away in 2018 join us as we honor him today #HeroesAppreciation

The final #HockeyFightsCancer Community Captains p/b Kaiser Permanente Thrive are Kashish and Mikayla! Kashish joined us on the blue line in 2019 and HFC Night was her first time coming to a game and now she loves it. We’re overjoyed that Kashish is still getting checkups, but is very healthy! Mikayla was also on the blue line in 2019 and wants everyone to be careful and safe so she can visit Disneyland again. We are beyond excited to share that she has now been cancer free for eight years!

"You kind of went in just to make sure, and then wow, you have it." Assistant GM Joe Will has been part of the #SJSharks organization since before we were a team. In March, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. His message to everyone? Get screened.... | #HockeyFightsCancer
