San Joaquin General Hospital’s Family Maternity Center Supports the CDPH Comprehensive Prenatal Services Program Low to moderate-income women are at higher risk for problems related to pregnancy and delivery, including the delivery. A major challenge is the delivery of low-birth-weight infants. The Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (CPSP) is a Medi-Cal program that provides a set of services for eligible low-income pregnant and postpartum women. Services are delivered by enrolled CPSP providers. Pregnancy and birth outcomes improve when pregnant women receive CPSP-enhanced services of nutrition, psychosocial and health education, in addition to routine obstetric care. For more information, follow the link below: https://www.cdph.ca.gov//C/Communications/Profile-CPSP.pdf

Improve how your mask protects you and others. Correct and consistent mask use is a critical step everyone can take to prevent getting and spreading COVID-19. Masks work best when everyone wears them, but not all masks provide the same protection. When choosing a mask, look at how well it fits, how well it filters the air, and how many layers it has.
