The California Supreme Court on July 16 directed the State Bar to administer the fall California Bar Exam online October 5-6. Registration is extended through J...uly 24. The Court also permanently lowered the passing score to 1390 and directed the State Bar to expedite a provisional licensing program for 2020 law school grads. Fresno County courts are changing their jury duty system to prevent the spread of coronavirus. They announced changes today to make it happen, including mandato...ry social distancing and smaller jury pools. They're sending out fewer jury summons and people are encouraged to check online or over the phone before showing up. And if they need jurors for a trial, they'll send fewer at a time into a courtroom for jury selection. There are no trials underway right now in Fresno County and several attorneys tell us they'd rather not do a trial during the pandemic. There was one trial scheduled to start today, though. It didn't start because the defendant is in the jail and is one of about 600 inmates to contract the coronavirus. See more

It is with great pleasure that I introduce to you, the Honorable Jeremy K Lusk. I cannot begin to describe the utter joy, excitement and feeling of accomplishm...ent for this man. 20 years of blood, sweat, tears, sleepless nights , 7 day work weeks, births, deaths, graduations, raising two humans and now this. You have worked tirelessly for our little family, Jeremy. You are a man of God, a man of integrity, my life partner and father of my children. I can’t wait to see where this next adventure takes us. 143 forever and always.

Thank you SJCL Alumni Association for another fabulous party for the kids and moms in the Marjaree Mason Center! It was a madhouse of merriment as they had din...ner and were serenaded with carols from the Clovis North High School Chamber Choir. They also received gifts and a photo with Santa, along with picking out a favorite book and snugly blanket. Thanks also to KMPH's Kopi Sotiropulos for serving as Master of Merriment. We can’t show the joy in the kids' faces, but maybe you can see it reflected in ours! See more
