Back on tap today, our much loved Bluff Creek Pale Ale. This American style pale ale was brewed by Brewmaster, Carlos after he was inspired by our LLC name, Sasquatch. He decided to brew a pale, hoppy approachable ale. Golden in color and generously hopped with Citra hops and Cascade for a smooth aromatice well balanced brew. He named it Bluff Creek, for the most famous Bigfoot sighting in 1967, the Patterson film. The search continues for this legendary beast. Perhaps this... brew might lure him out? We believe. It’s Thirsty Thursday, what better way to celebrate than with a new Citron Vodka from our friends at Jewell Distillery! Jewell Citron Vodka is distilled with Neutral Grain Spirits from 100% Organic Italian Wheat. This is a unique and exciting spirit made from Buddha Hand Citron fruit that is sourced direct from the ranch in California. You can find this delicious spirit in our house 6R Lemon Drop. Try it with a splash of locally made Elderberry Syrup or a splash of Raspberr...y Lambic! We dogs. Co-owners, Meredith and Talia have been taking in rescue dogs for decades. This is Sheila, our newest 6R family member, she’s 10 and looking forward to retirement at the brew with the view. Although our patio is not currently open to dogs, our outdoor seating is! And let me tell you, when you bring your dog it brightens our day! It’s Wet Your Whistle Wednesday and you know what goes great with beer?! Pizza! You can grab a great deal on all your pub favorites tonight and every Wednesday! A throw back to Super Bowl 2020, when we shared a helmet full of margaritas and celebrated like we didn’t know a global pandemic was around the corner! Our famous Southern Fried Chicken has been a staple on Tuesdays since 2005. The recipe was shared by Chef Colby Waters who had come to Humboldt from Georgia, and was a take on his Granny’s recipe. It quickly became a favorite and we’ve kept Granny’s legacy alive every Tuesday since! This giant plate of southern style comfort food is available for preorder today starting at noon and picks up will run 4-7pm. Our homie, Tommy from Homeboldt has been crushing our annual Halftime Wing Eating Contest for three years running. Happy Thirsty Thursday! Today we raise our glass to local collaboration! As we seek new products, we often find ourselves making new friends with local business owners. We find we have similar passions and then we become obsessed with finding more ways to include their products in our menu items. Humboldt Hotsauce has always been an easy addition to kick up the heat! You can find their sauces used in our Mango Habanero Wings and our newest spicy thriller, The Three Alarm Bu...rger! The Three Alarm Burger features Humboldt Hot Sauce’s Trinidad Stinger, fresh jalapeños, pepperjack cheese, lettuce, tomato and a house made spicy garlic aioli. On this Wet Your Whistle Wednesday, we offer something new to wet your whistle with! We met homebrewer, Nancy Noll a couple years back when we hosted an International Women’s Brew Day with Humboldt Homebrewers. She was enthusiastic and funny and we were delighted to meet her. During a visit last month, she brought us a taste of one of her award winning home brews and we loved it so much we made a plan to brew with her on a larger commercial scale. Proceeds from this beer will... benefit Humboldt Community Breast and Gyn Health Project. Today we tap Nasty Woman IPA, our collaboration with this local homebrewer. This IPA features a prominent Citra Hop profile. An interesting blend of imported malts Maris Otter, Melanoidin, Vienna, Honey Malt and flaked wheat were skillfully blended to replicate this award winning home brew recipe. Dry hopped with the ever popular Mosaic Hop, this honey colored aromatic brew comes in at 6.7 ABV and a whopping 83 IBUs. Nancy says, " People ask me about the name, and I tell them I heard a woman get called nasty just for expressing her opinion. If a nasty woman is bold, intelligent, and has self-esteem, then I guess that makes me a nasty woman too. It’s sarcastic, but the fact is in business, if you’re a man and you’re a mover and shaker, you’re called shrewd, if you’re a woman doing the same, you’re called nasty. We couldn't agree more, Nancy!
