Registration for the 2020 Holiday Craft Fair at College of the Siskiyous is open. All Crafters selling hand-crafted, homemade items (by the Crafter) are invited to participate. This year, due to COVID-19, the number of booth spaces available has been reduced to 30. The Holiday Craft Fair will be held at the College of the Siskiyous Gymnasium (800 College Avenue, Weed) on Saturday, December 5, 2020 (one-day only). The cost to participate is $75 per 10’ x 10’ space. The ...2020 event will be conducted using industry guidelines and protocol published by the California Department of Public Health and the California Department of Industrial Relations. Crafter participation in this event will be limited to Siskiyou County residents and surrounding areas within 100 miles of the Weed Campus. For the first time ever, this event will be juried and all who register for the event will be notified as to whether or not they have been accepted to participate in the Craft Fair. All applications will be reviewed carefully to prevent saturation of like items. Last day to submit registration form and required documents is Friday, October 30. This event is open to the public but will be limited to 120 people at a time in the Gym, including Crafters and staff. The Holiday Craft Fair will be set up with flow patterns that encourage physical distancing and one-way traffic. While at the event, all in attendance will follow official CDC Guidelines for COVID-19 indoor events (July 7, 2020): Wearing an appropriate face covering (worn by all who enter) is required Avoid shaking hands, hugging, or other types of physical contact Physical distancing six (6) feet separation from all non-family members at all times Avoid touching the face (mouth, nose, eyes) Cover a cough with elbow and sneeze into a tissue, then properly dispose Frequently wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds; if soap and water are not available, use alcohol-based hand sanitizer For additional information about the COS Holiday Craft Fair contact the COS Foundation Office by calling (530) 938-5373 or email [email protected].
