I'm so excited to announce that we are offering a Musical Mini Camp for the Mid-winter school break. Signups are now open. Ages 11-18. February 15-19, 10am-1pm.

I'm super excited to be pairing with my friend and colleague Laura Nelson to offer some day camps focused on musical theater skills: Acting, Keyboard skills, Singing, Dancing, and things like costumes and props. We have a few more details to hash out but hopefully we will be able to open up registration in the next few days!

Trying to catch up on this series of prompts. I’m trying to find source materials for each that are as close to California as I can. I’m also trying to stay away from the cliché and obvious representations. #1. Trees is out of my imagination. 2. The fox is not a California native said far as I know. I hadn’t settled on that theme yet and simply searched the prompt sleepy fox 3. This could be a burrowing owl or another small owl that we get here in California. I thought about ...a barn owl, which is my favorite but I didn’t dew up to their gorgeous white face disc. #4. Is a mockingbird nest. #5. Is a hedgehog I’m disappointed in. Except for his widdle fangs. No one ever seems to draw the little fangs and I saw lots of pictures with little teefs and fangs. #6. This is a mushroom @wild.macro photographed at Portola Redwoods- my favorite coastal park and it was thankfully spared (just barely) from the fire that ravaged Big Basin. After looking up mushrooms and fungus to paint I’m considering a whole series. Here is a little yoga Sequence I developed for a cis male client who is over 60 and getting ready to hike the pacific crest trail. He requested in particular stretches that would help his calves and the groin area including the pectineus muscle.
