Last week she was shadowing the jakes, this week the pea hen is shadowing the turkey hens.

Undiscovered damage to a 40-50 year old tree that looked perfect from other angles. Alas, this damage looks fatal and the North-side roots roots are all lost in any case.

The mob of hens moved onto our ranch this afternoon and two of the three big, tan birds where in the mob. (Sorry for the poor pic quality-there was rain on the windshield.)

If you're still shopping for Christmas gifts, your cats want you to know that Dollar Tree has sardine cans for a buck! (Better buy two...)
