As we celebrate our 10-year anniversary, we would like to recognize our customers and strategic partners as an integral part of our continued success domestically and abroad with #EnergyStorage systems deployed in more than 40 countries around the world. We recognize this is just the beginning as we continue pursuing our mission to create universal access to safe, reliable, and affordable energy to empower people, communities, and enterprises globally. In a letter to you, CE...O Catherine Von Burg addresses the growing threat of #ClimateChange, pulls back the curtain on misguided government subsidies using taxpayer dollars to support #BigOil despite gas and oil stocks dramatically underperforming over the last five years and courageously calls for the #divestment of fossil fuels as a matter of fiduciary duty for governments and investors alike. Three Rockefellers Say Banks Must Stop Financing Fossil Fuels. - Daniel Growald, Peter Gill Case and Valerie Rockefeller in The New York Times Opinion Therefore, integral to our celebration and success is a celebration of you, as well as a recognition and call to action that we must do more going forward together. We are thrilled to see Cargill and other companies such as McDonald's and Walmart taking a stance on #ClimateAction by investing in #RegenerativeFarming to reduce CO2 emissions. Regenerative farming has the capacity to cut the atmospheric C02 concentration by 31% over the next 30 years while enhancing the profitability of farmers and ranchers. SimpliPhi Power has been working with farmers since our inception, adding #EnergyStorage to renewable generation, significantly reducing their amount of diesel costs and hazardous emissions. Visit our agriculture page to see how farms have successfully installed energy storage, making a positive impact on both the environment and their business! https://bit.ly/2HQJUse #poweronyourterms

ICYMI: SimpliPhi Power extended the Energize California campaign through the end of the year and expanded it across the nation to Energize America in an effort to support people and communities facing the drastic increases in climate disasters and ensuing #poweroutages. In Jackson County, Oregon, approximately 7,200 customers were without power in mid-September and more than 40,000 people have been forced to vacate their homes. In Northern Utah, Rocky Mountain Power reported... more than 174,000 residents were without power due to hurricanes and windstorms. In Chicago, IL, the Derecho left 260,000 homes in the dark, while Hurricane Isaias in the North East had the catastrophic impact of leaving 6.4 million households without power. Customer-sited #batterystorage creates reliable back-up power in the face of growing #poweroutages and threats to the centralized grid, whether at home, at work or during evacuations. SimpliPhi’s Energize America campaign offers discounted pricing and expedited shipping on a full range of energy storage solutions that scale from small mobile, hand-held Genny power packs, to battery-powered ExprESS generators on wheels, to pre-integrated whole home or small commercial AccESS units. Remember back in 2016 when only 58% of eligible voters participated in the U.S. presidential election, reports citing prolonged wait times and conflicting work schedules as the reason? Now, in 2020, as we head toward another presidential election on November 3rd, Ventura County has inexplicably cut back on polling stations, from 389 during the March primary election, to a mere 47 in November. Though the 47 November polling stations will be open a total of four days rather tha...n just one, the numbers still fall short of the ‘standard’, which was wholly inadequate to start with, based on the reports of long lines and low voter turn-out. In an effort to counteract Ventura County’s ill-conceived ‘strategy’, that effectively limits available polling-sites for people looking to exercise their most basic democratic right, if not obligation, to vote, SimpliPhi Power CEO Catherine Von Burg has joined the business-led Time To Vote movement. The national, non-partisan initiative now has over 700 companies pledging to provide paid time off for all employees to leave work on November 3rd to support voter turnout. SimpliPhi Power believes workers shouldn’t have to choose between earning a paycheck and voting, and encourages other business leaders around the U.S. to join the movement! https://bit.ly/2Fp2cja #TimeToVote #PowerOnYourTerms #2020Election
