It’s been 8 days since the move of Simi Send Rover on Over. The hustle bustle energy of everyone working hard to get all the doggie items of 6 years, detached, delivered, dismounted, and packed up was intense. The timing could not have been worse to move, but maybe ok for the additional time needed to transition. Steve and Trino and Jacqulyn and Rebecca searched feverishly to find a new location for Rover and they had only 30 days before the lease was up. There was no down ti...me and they made it happen. They have encountered a few snags that are unfortunate and inconvenient for a small handful and we apologize and this too we shall overcome. I am very happy with my decision as to the buyers of this business and they have every intention to serve you well. Move day was optional for the staff. I did not want anyone to have concerns working in an environment in which social distancing needed to be maintained. Everyone came and conquered. We spread out, wore masks, and used plenty of hand sanitizer and no hugging. My dedicated staff are some of the most incredible young adults I could have the pleasure of working with. This has been an employee run company since I left the area and they rocked it. I cannot express my gratitude for their diligence to come to work, do their job, and love on your dogs. We shared a few special kind words and everyone trickled out almost unwillingly like the end of a favorite long sitcom. I feel optimistic about the new changes about to embark upon Rover as Simi Valley Pet Resort. Your favorite faces will still be there and we are anxiously waiting for this pandemic to depart our Country and resume sharing some recreation time with your canine companions. Hi Everyone. We hit a little snag with our new location. We are still offering services to the best of our ability before the new owners can open at the LA Avenue location. If you are in need of day stays Monday and or Tuesday Please contact me to stay at the old location 310 East easy street Before the end of the day.... For Monday and Tuesday only this week. I will need to schedule ‘on call’ staff to come in. If you would like your dog to be walked by one of our staff, please let me know the day before, at least, while we are waiting on a permit. If you would like to shuttle your dog to our Ventura location, please let me know the day before as for they are only open select days as well. We’re on the move. Not to Florida, but just down the street. Friday will be our last official day at the Easy street location. We will reopen Wednesday April 1st at the new location. The Corona virus has created a few snags in the grand opening of the new location which is understandable. Supplies and equipment have been cancelled or delayed. The new owners Steve, Jacqueline, Trino, and Rebecca have been working feverishly to get organized, constructed, and ready for you and ...your Pup to come enjoy the new facility. The new location will offer a sense of newness with new paint, rubber mat flooring, vinyl fencing, business technology, additional services, and the drive to provide you with the service that creates a long lasting business relationship. Strange times we are experiencing right now. Although we are in the midst of a healthcare and business crisis all across the nation, the plans for your new Doggie Daycare facility are commencing safely behind the scenes. Steve, Jacqueline, Trino, and Rebecca the new owners, are busy building the new website and would like to have photos of your dogs included in the new site. Hello dog parents and dog lovers. These are trying times in which as a business owner and retired health care worker, I take this Corona virus very seriously. For the most part, I built this doggie daycare with the thoughts of a full day of play as the primary function of this business. But there have become several other reasons for dogs to participate in our programs. Separation anxiety, destructive adolescence, risk for injury, risk of property damage, and or long hours wo...rked by those in law enforcement, health care and other essential businesses that remain open for those in need. These factors result in our decision to remain open under these circumstances. So that we may continue to serve you, we need to follow CDC guidelines for spacial awareness and distancing and disinfecting procedures. We are offering curbside and doorway drop offs. We are spraying off leash handles on arrival and using hand sanitizer after each check in. We also need to know when you need to bring your dog for you to go to work or be supervised in your absence.
