COVID-19 -MONITORING HYPOXIA: Some studies show that oximetry is one of the best ways we can monitor hypoxia associated with COVID-19. Possibly even better than temperature since so many cases are asymptomatic. Even asymptomatic cases are still showing low oxygen levels. All patients who come into ourr office are checked and anyone under SpO2 <93 is cause for concern.

Beginning next week, we're going to switch to summer hours so we can have long weekends and still keep you healthy and happy through the Summer of 'Rona. We'll be open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays until the end of September. Enjoy your summer!

I want to thank my Saturday afternoon patients for their understanding today for the last-minute cancellations. I found out at the last minute that funeral services for a colleague's husband were today in Culver City, and it was important to me and to her that I go. For those who didn't know, Danilo Lee passed away this week, and I hope in some small way that I can be of support to his wife Angela as she starts this new journey without Dani.
