At the point of exhaustion and no electricity has me like Trying to get some answers and need to be up and running soon. Kinda feeling left out here with no care as our vendors won’t come up or help us out, just this one time. ... The firefighters love our cookies. Thanks to a propane oven, without an electrical operator panel, we are able to cook them and keep um coming. The love that is spreading in our canyon is absolutely phenomenal and touching. As Covid and politics were really starting to divide families, relationships and community, we have been brought back together. ... Not one word of negativity have I heard in the last 6 days. We are on day 7 of the Bond Fire and still no electricity. Firefighters are all still here to get us thru the winds but unfortunately the Santa Ana’s are supposedly hitting us hard this month from what we are being told. We will continue to be here and supply whatever we can to our community and firefighters. Just praying our vendors will come up. Anything would be appreciated. With my salon closing and now the Bond fire at our beloved market, we are not in a good way. We have lost most of our frozen food and refrigerated food. My cousin, Amy Nua @desertroseflorals did this go fund me for us and it touched my heart. I’m not one to ask for money but I don’t want to loose my market or my home.

Tacos for our community and Jeff is in his element. Our community is coming home and we can’t wait to get back to some normalcy. But, we are blessed to all be safe. The fire is in containment and winds are coming today. Firefighters are standing by for any flare ups. Exhaustion is an understatement but when I see this the tears start to flow. Many people lost everything , their homes and their animals. On top of our old Oak trees, beautiful native shrubs and wildlife. We are on Day 6 and things are calming down. ... Never have I felt so scared to loose everything but I didn’t and others did. And it still hurts because this is the community God meant for me to be in. I’m here for a reason. I was put in Silverado to serve and love. This tragic event has made me fall more in love with Silverado. Our community is special.
