It’s a crisp 5 degrees outside this morning!!! Must be time to call it a year!!! Doors close on the 2020 season today at noon here at Silver Lake Resort. Thanks to everyone for making the Longest Shortest year such a success. The entire SLR crew thanks you all and wishes everyone a happy, healthy off season. See everyone the end of April 2021 for what we all hope is a more normal year!!!

First fish of the day! Allen and Maggie caught a beautiful rainbow from the shore using powerbait, weighing in at 6# 2oz Happy fishing!!

Great news!!!! The Inyo National Forest has lifted some of the current closure restrictions and have opened up the forest for recreating. Fishing, hiking, biking and having tons of fun in the Eastern Sierra, the entire June Lake Loop and Silver Lake Resort!!! We are so excited and ready!! Hope to see you soon!!

Unfortunately the Inyo National Forest has extended its no recreating on forest land and lakes!!! However, our Cafe is open daily from 7am-2pm, Store is open daily from 7am-7pm! RV Park and Cabins are also open! Come enjoy our Fall Colors, as they are just starting to change! This is the year to explore, Toiyabe National Forest, Bridgeport Reservoir, Bodie State Historic Park, Mono Lake, Crowley Fish Camp and Yosemite National Park (reservations required)! Let us know other great locations you like to go!
