Digging through a box of old pictures I came across two Polaroid photos from my days adjusting claims. These two were taken while I was in Texas handling hail claims 25 plus years ago. Climbing on roofs using a folded wooden ladder I would pull from the trunk of my rental car and placeed up against the gutter of a roof and climbed up. This was the day before safety ropes and roof-teams of two adjusters. The goal was to inspect 10 roofs per day and be off homes before 1:00. The heat was so intense in the afternoon. It was a great experience and fun exploring different parts of the country. The view from a rooftop was always the best.
