December Pet of the Month Pax Pax was rescued 8 years ago from Fresno Bully Rescue. She was adopted as a puppy but was brought back to the rescue due to a change in living situations. She has always been a goofy happy go lucky girl and loves everyone she meets. In May she was diagnosed with an oral sarcoma. She was taken up to VCA Sacramento for treatment. She ended up having part of her jaw removed and then having to go through three and a half weeks of radiation. She became... a staff favorite and everyone know her when she walks into the clinic. She was such a trooper through the whole process. Something her owner credits to her having that pit bull spirit. She was always happy to see the staff and always had lots of booty shaking tail wags for everyone. She has been clear from regrowth of the sarcoma so far and we hope it stays that way. Pax now has a very distinctive smile and she shows it off every chance she gets. Her family calls it her Elvis smile and it just gives her a little extra character to go with her goofy personality.
