Join us for three exciting financial literacy seminars on Zoom! Each session will arm parents with tips and ideas on how to speak to their young children about money. You’ll be able to explain how money works, pass on the gift of financial knowledge, and help weigh the pros and cons regarding the various college-saving options available today. Led by proud single mom Veronica Vasquez, a financial services professional. Q&A after each session. Every Saturday morning, the onli...ne seminar begins at 9:00 AM PST on January 16th, 23rd, and 30th. Each seminar will be about an hour long, and is geared for parents and not for the children. Call the Library at (626) 355-7186 to register. #sierramadrepubliclibrary #mysierramadrelibrary

We're proud to announce that our very own, Librarian Leila was honored last night with the City of Sierra Madre's "Exemplary Employee Award." It is awarded for dedication and exemplary service to the community. She thanks everyone for the opportunity to serve and shine. #sierramadrepubliclibrary #mysierramadrelibrary
Last week we were introduced to a new hula, Christmas Lu'au by Waimanalo Keikis and artists. Today, we're learning the hand movements. The hands are the most important part, they are what tell the story of the song. Join Librarian Leila as she teaches you a new hula choreography. Please remember, Librarian Leila is not a Kumu (teacher) and does this simply to share her culture, share her knowledge, and for fun. Mahalo nui loa (thank you very much). #sierramadrepubliclibrary #mysierramadrelibrary
Need a new hobby? We've got sewing machines available for checkout. You can even pick a sewing project kit to get you started! #sierramadrepubliclibrary #mysierramadrelibrary
