Without the annual celebrations for New Years Eve, the Sierra Madre Police Department reminds you that behind distracted driving, drunk driving is the number one cause of most car accidents in the US and, by far, the most deadly. Don’t Drink and Drive. #arrivealive #smpdpublicsafety #welovesierramadre

The Santa Claus Helpers Tour Team: Brent, Nathalia, Adam, Lou, Doug, Rich, Henry, Karen and Ed were out in force last night to assist Santa for his merry ride through Sierra Madre. Thanks to all the cheering, singing, dancing and happy faces that came out to see Santa as he came to your neighborhood. Merry Christmas to all, be safe and stay healthy. #singingsanta #smpdsmfdstrong #welovesierramadre #stayhealthy #twochiefs @ Sierra Madre

Our hearts go out to the family of Bayron Salguero and the whole South Pasadena Police Department on the loss of one of their own. Civilian staff is such a vital part of any Law Enforcement Organization. Dispatchers work alongside our officers everyday ensuring the safety of the communities they serve and doing all they can to get their Officers home to their families. Let’s continue to do our part so we all make it home #thingoldline#tooclosetohome#rip... Repost from @southpasadenapd It is with profound sadness and heartbreak that we announce the passing of Police Assistant Bayron Salguero, who lost his life on January 16 due to complications related to Covid-19. Bayron had just completed the dispatch training program and was due to start his new shift next week. Though he was with us for only a short time, he quickly became a part of our family. He had a great attitude and was admired by everyone for his work ethic and willingness to learn. He is survived by his parents and two sisters. We will miss you, Bayron, Rest In Peace. PA Salguero, you are end of watch, January 16, 2021 #sppd #police #eow
