KRAMPUS As I dive more into my German roots, I’ve fallen in love with this guy! I didn’t want to copy any of the Krampus’ from the films, so I decided to read the folktale, along with his characteristics from the legend to design this look. ... This is what came out of it! Please go read this lively legend, and don’t forget to be good, boys and girls. I’m stoked to be that weird mom someday that reads the stories of Krampusnacht to her children during the holiday season. Merry Christmas, Beautiful Monsters

Hey there, outcast. You’re not alone. Yeah, that’s right. Coming from a freak who does this ISH to herself, I can say I have at least a tad of experience with this. We’re SO different in so many ways-... why is it that we often times are afraid to express it? Why can’t we all just be our weird, strange selves with confidence? Are we afraid of: -lack of acceptance -standing out -losing friendships The list could go on and on what my fears were... people thinking I’m weird, strange, typical, or even predictable. I hid, for a LONG time. I hid my passions, my thoughts, my emotions and any ounce of boldness I could muster. I kept it to myself. What does this do? If we’re passionate about something, why is our first instinct to hide? Why do we fear exposure? What keeps our voice silent? Sure, at times we will be wrong. Hell, MANY times we ARE and WILL be wrong, you’d better get used to it honestly. Are we afraid to fail, be humbled, learn, and grow? I want growth. I want sanctification. I want to be bold. I want to be wrong. I want to fall, and get back up. I want to struggle fighting for what I love. Because without the struggle, what are we fighting for, if we’re truly not fighting at all? Embrace your inner freak- be an outcast, and own it. Enjoy your struggle, Beautiful Monsters. Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. -James 1:2-4

Hi, I’m Sierra, and I really like to dream big. What is a dream? A spark in your heart so strong, it never goes away no matter how hard you try to suffocate it with realism and pessimism. A passion that irks tears whenever someone asks you about it. An aspiration that sanctifies the crap outta you to become more like Christ. To be honest, I’ve spent my whole life as a dreamer, but not as a pursuer. Until just recently, I’ve learned that the two are one in the same. ... You can dream about being healthier, but that won’t put the good food on your plate. You can dream about having the greatest marriage, but that won’t put in the work necessary to love your spouse well. You can dream about having a walk with Jesus, but that won’t build the relationship for you. To pursue is to follow with intentionality. Dreaming about having your dream career, working from home while making money, running your own business, having a family, working in the film industry- it’s all possible. It is possible. You CAN do it. Whether you WANT to pursue it, is up to you. So I ask- what’s holding you back? For me, it was fear. Fear of what people may think of me, fear of failure, fear of finance, fear of losing cherished relationships along the way- all things that are not a good enough reason to say no to the dreams that have been put on my heart that will never stop tugging. I’m thankful for this season of God teaching me this. This year, I choose to not let this fear control me any longer. I choose to pursue. Thank you to all my beautiful monsters for supporting me in this, for all my family, my loyal clients, the BEST husband, and most of all, the greatest Savior. Without this support, I’d truly be screwed. If you were to choose not to fear today, what is keeping you from your pursuit?

SOULLESS SATYR After LITERAL blood, sweat and tears, the look is finally done! Guys, I’m gonna be completely real with y’all- last night was rough. I was exhausted, couldn’t get my contacts in, nothing was working the way I planned, and I cried like a child and had a mini meltdown. I decided to add the black tears to this look as a symbolism of the hard work it took to create this. It may not be the vision I had, but I’m proud I finished it, and put in the work. Sometimes things don’t turn out the way you plan and you just gotta take a deep breath, and remember why you started.

ANGLER FISH I had to go out with a bang for the last one in the Aquatic Evolution series! This was a fun one. Not only did I learn a lot of new prosthetic techniques, but I got to mess with different painting techniques as well. That’s why I love this industry! You keep learning, no matter what! Some exciting things await in the future and I can’t wait to share them with y’all! Stay tuned, and thank you for the continued support and love
