Those who know me, know I come from a beekeeping family. My family runs thousands of hives but I decided to start my own way of running bees. I'm currently up to 12 different small secluded bee locations up and down the central coast. Each spot has its own unique type of honey the bees bring in. At each one of these spots they are on private ranch's with some of the coolest owners. I can't even tell you how much love and support they have showed me over the years to create th...is amazing company Sierra honey farm. I am finally picking up a little more pollination for this coming year, almonds, apples, onions and some basil but I cant help but be drawn to the sweet golden honey that oozes from the central coast hills! These are some pictures from one of my latest locations, completely submerged in blue gum eucalyptus groves and a huge wildlife preserve filled with a buffet of flowers for the bees. One of my favorite places to visit is the Carrizo Plains. Always so quite and peaceful, never any people and away from all the craziness.
