Sierra College Theatre Arts Department is angered and outraged over the brutality against black people in America. We embrace our role as educators, artists, and fellow human beings standing in solidarity against racism and in support of Blacks Lives Matter. We support and stand with all our students and colleagues of color. We acknowledge systemic inequities that have contributed to the problem through inaction and unawareness and will tolerate this no longer. We resolve to do better. We resolve to listen and offer safe spaces to open the channels of dialogue. Together, we can work to accept our discomfort, to challenge ourselves to continue to learn and to embrace this call to consciousness, and move forward with action and accountability.

Sierra College Theatre Arts is looking to cast a male 30's-40's range in THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY. The role is Alan Campbell, a chemist and former love interest of Dorian, who Dorian blackmails. This is the only scene in which the actor would appear, so there is a little flexibility on rehearsals. We'd need this actor Wed, 2/26 (about 4:30pm call), Tue, 3/3, Thu, 3/5 and M-Th, 3:30-6:30pm for run-throughs 3/9-3/12 and 3/16-3/19. Tech is Sunday, 3/15.
