Valued Friends, Partners and Customers, Thank you for your continued support of SAS, Sierra Automated Systems. I would like to provide an update of our operations during the National Emergency created by Covid-19.... All of operations from our 3 facilities throughout the country are operating normally. We have operations in Los Angeles, Denver and New York. Each location has SAS engineers available for support questions and troubleshooting. SAS is taking all of the precautionary recommendations from the CDC to maintain healthy and safe environments in all of our locations. SAS has many options available for remote operations of your complete systems for both PC and IOS devices and we will be providing these apps at no charge. Many SAS facilities already have mechanisms in place for disaster recovery and unmanned operations and we will be recommending using similar configurations. All SAS based systems old and new can easily implement remote control over your consoles, audio mapping for TX Paths etc, metering, automation (SAS) and logic, all over IP. We will be releasing overview and how to videos shortly, and please call us for assistance anytime. Lastly, all current SAS customer’s orders that are in process are proceeding as usual with no expected delays in manufacturing at this time. Please do not hesitate to call us at 818-840-6749 for assistance anytime, 24/7. You may also call me directly at 818-399-6490 as well. Thank you for being the best part of SAS. Please stay safe and we will get through this together, Sincerely, Al Salci, Vice President.

Santa Fe to New York, easy peasy with Dante/AES67. Using Time Machine GPS 1588 master clock, model 2000A, and thanks to the expertise of Josh Hadden and Jeff Smith at iHeart NY, we have AoIP LINEAR from NYC to Santa Fe, and managed as if it were in a room in the building in NY. Now all of their many thousand outputs in a facility, with an SAS system of over 10,000 channels, can dial up multiple channels of audio from a Studio in Santa Fe NM. Congratulations Josh and Jeff, you guys are SAS/Dante/AES67 rock stars. Stay tuned, we will provide more details and an Engineering Tech note on how its done.

Lots of consoles under construction and going out to spread the joy of robust hardware, pristine audio and Dante/AES67. Rutgers Red was so popular we’re now shipping them all over the country! Got a custom color or finish in mind? Hit us up with your ideas and we will turn them into works of studio art!
