Computer lenses increase visual comfort and decrease eye strain. Wearing a regular progressive lens instead of a computer lens often creates a stiff neck as you try to hold your head to clear your vision by looking through a different part of the lens.

Don’t forget to take your glasses out of your car this summer to avoid lens crazing. Crazing is a web of tiny cracks that can appear on the lenses of eyeglasses coated with an anti-reflective coating. Looking through crazed lenses can make your world appear blurry. Never leave your glasses in a hot car, and avoid wearing your glasses near extreme heat.

Sierra Eye Medical Group is currently closed. Our closure is voluntary and aimed at stopping the spread of COVID-19. There have been no known cases or exposure to COVID-19 in our facility.
