All classes are still on as scheduled at Jiai Aikido for now. We don't have any 'special instructions' for our students or Instructors, except for....keep up th...e good work and stay smart. Programs here disinfect the mats and entire facility regularly, as much as possible. Door knobs, walls, water fountains, weapons, etc. Everything. There are sanitize bottles by both doors and changing rooms, and an on-site laundry to clean our rags, curtains, mats, etc. regularly. We always urge everyone to avoid the dojo if you have any symptoms of anything yucky. If you are traveling from a place of major concern, we love you but please stay home for a few. If you are coughing/sneezing or have snot abound... we love you but stay home. All students are encouraged to wash hands before and after classes, and let us know if there is anything around needing attention. All the above is common sense and we practice it steadfastly. We have never (that I know of) had any issues of a virus or skin funk/mat bacteria spread in our dojo. We will keep working to remain that way, and stay a world class training facility our Instructors can be proud of. With that said, anytime our Dojo & SDMACC Instructors or students have concerns, or there is a public call to action for San Diego facilities to act otherwise... we'll listen to them. We may have some 'weapon only classes etc.' coming up. We are open to all dialogue & feedback about this around the dojo. Class starts in 20 minutes! Thanks to all-Cat
