Ta Da!!! Our beautiful new benches in front of the museum! Your generous donations made it possible to place 2, lovely and inviting, 8 foot benches on either side of the front doors. They are made of recycled milk jugs which makes them extra special. They are placed in loving memory of our dear friend and long time employee of the Shoshone Museum, Ethel Messer. She was, however, so much more than that, and that is where you kind people come in... I am hoping that you wil...l participate in creating the memorial plaque in Ethel's honor. She would like that I think. I can picture her sitting on that bench in front of the window and watching the world go by, We are looking for short but meaningful, odes, poems, desert ditty's, descriptive words, you know, things that evoke Ethel. She was one of a kind and therefore I felt the standard "in memory of" just would not suffice. So please, take a minute, close your eyes, think of Ethel and jot down what comes to mind... We will sift through it all and do our best to honor Ethel with a memorial.
