Our firm is pleased welcome Stockton native Daniella Green as an associate attorney. Daniella has been practicing law since 2017, with experience in civil litigation, natural resources, and construction law. She earned her law degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, serving on law review. Prior, she received a BS in Business Administration from the University of the Pacific where she was a member of the Pacific Tigers dance team and the Pacific Legal Scholars Program. Daniella will be working in our firm's litigation, family law, and land use practice groups.

Last month, partner Brett Jolley, representing local neighboring businesses, ensured that a proposed 352-unit mobilehome park would be required to conform to City of Stockton density requirements and to mitigate for traffic impacts before being considered for approval. The mobilehome park developer asserted the project was exempt from environmental review and that the City's authority to condition or deny the application was "preempted" by state law. City staff initially agreed, but upon receiving opposition arguments from Mr. Jolley and others the City Attorney determined that the project was not exempt from environmental review and was, in fact, inconsistent with the City's General Plan. Thus, the project could not be considered for approval without further environmental review, impact mitigation, and legislative changes.
