Hello! Hello! Ari here! It’s been a while since you’ve heard from me so I thought I’d let you all know what I’ve been up to and what’s up coming in 2020. I’m so excited to be speaking at @oakland_cm on the 28th on the theme of investing #investinoakland. I love creative mornings, they’ve given me a much needed community when entrepreneurship has gotten lonely (or when I’m in need of a donut). I’m also teaching a... few workshops for entrepreneurs with @rencenter, so I’d you’ve been thinking about starting that business check it out. Now! What I’ve been up to2020 has already been very full of art and creative projects. I’m excited to announce that they heart I painted for @sfghfoundation made its debut today at Union Square today which is totally mind blowing. I also did a mural at @theportworkspaces (and in beautiful serendipity, the Port is where my creative mornings talk will be). I’ve also been traveling which I love, it’s super energizing for me. I love being in different cities and wandering around. I’ve spent some quality time in airport bathrooms, wearing all black (and traveling lightly using my capsule wardrobe)of course! I’ve been to Philly, Denver, New York, and am heading to Portland for the long weekend. But most importantly, I’ve been resting. I don’t think I fully realized how tired I was until I got a chance to take a break from the brick and mortar day to day. A huge thank you to all the friends who dropped me a line to check in on me. It made all the difference as I navigated this transition in my day-to-day. I appreciate you. In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, be good to one another, check in on the folks you love it makes a difference. And! Yes, still working on Viscera 2.0, I’ll share more details in due time. Hey! Ari here wishing you happy holidays! For people who don’t know me yet, I’m Ari , the founder/designer of Viscera. On this holiday I’m reflecting on the many things I’m grateful for, one of them being you, our community! As we’re about to celebrate our 5 year anniversary, it’s not lost on me that we wouldn’t be celebrating this milestone without your support. I know it’s harder to shop local, it’s more expensive, and less convenient but you all do it anyway because you ca...re about our neighborhood, you care about our creatives/makers, and because you want to know the way you spend your money is aligned with your values.
