Hey gang, this is @allison_design here.. have a nice '59 Pontiac instrument cluster for sale. We had the bezel replated and I personally cleaned , detailed and polished the faces. Tiny bit of pitting on the inner ring on one gage. It has not been rebuilt... as anyone who has ever worked on one if these knows, the bezel is always a pitted mess... I am not even going to admit how much the cluster we are using cost us to have it professionally restored, this one is a bargain... asking $300.. I went to @gandjaircraft today to get some custom hoses made and looked on the wall and it occurred to me that today is the 14 year anniversary of getting my first 200 MPH record at Bonneville and welcomed into the 200 MPH CLUB. inducted by Art Chrisman..... what a day! TBT..... It was November of 2019 and we all went to Saudi Arabia as guests of the Sheik and King. A big show that impressed all of us. We met the best people and had the opportunity to see things that westerners never get to experience. Funny, I know all the peeps in this picture from TV but never had time to know them. Made great friends ( even Noah ) @arkbuildernoah and Charles..... affectionately renamed Chaz before the world went sideways. Best time ever and would go back... in a heartbeat. This photo was at a fort built 100 years ago and the history blew my mind! So not everything our family and friends do is cars, hot rods, racing, or motorcycles. We’ve been blessed with a life of experiences which include growing up sport fishing that gave us the love of the ocean. I took the day off work to spend time with my brothers Jonny and Ned to fish Bluefin tuna. My nephew Joey just turned 16 and he hooked and landed this wonderful fish! 137 pounder.... big thanks to Ned @seafood3412 my brother for the opportunity to ride on his bosses fast boat. 39 foot Sea Hunter..... Ok.. so, offering this stuff up before it goes on ebay..from the collection of famed Nailhead guru Max Balchousky (Old Yeller), 2 different BUICK NAILHEAD Hilborn injection systems... both of them have been on a shelf since the 60s, are slightly different but have the same markings (hilborn injector Los Angeles 324-b-8) .... the 2 sets with stacks appear to be NOS, never on a motor. Here’s something to make us all feel good! Little buddy Camdon Bozell in Plainwell Michigan who I spoke about not too long ago, he was bitten by a dog and was injured. The post got a lot of attention and people responded with love, I’m humbled. A gentleman, Brick from Las Vegas sent a very sweet care package of goodies and a very nice letter of inspiration as he too had a similar childhood experience. Faith, hope and a passion for life has compelled him to happiness. THANK YO...U BRICK!...... the toys, letter and cool car guy shirt put a big smile on Camdon’s face. Big John Beck is my close friend and on the left, he’s the guy who always makes the special effort to step in and help. John never says the word boo ..... a quiet man standing outside of the lights never wanting anything, always giving. The world is a better place because of him, his wife .. The title is earned, not given. My faith in the Lord is not questioned. An honor bestowed. For the event Mr Billy Gibbons GAVE me his Preachers coat.... to wear. I’m not sure how to word this so please forgive me. Our friends and family in Michigan have been through a lot. The neighbor boy Camdon suffered a dog attack and was hurt pretty bad. He’s been through the first surgeries and doing great! Still a long road ahead. We haven’t talked about it as it is personal. He and his family have more to endure and with love and support can make it better. Not asking for anything but if anyone wants to share well wishes and prayers please do. Camdon will love it! So first fire of Dave’s Gasser @finelinedave a 65 C-10 truck. Don’t sweat the racked throttle, we got heat in it before cracking the injectors. Dyno’d the engine by John Beck but found at our altitude the barrel valve was fat and had to lean to clean it out. The sound quality sucks on a phone. Bad mammer jammer! Sorting out the tune. I saw this posted and I guess it’s been out there for awhile. It struck a cord in my heart and it took me back to the 70’s as a kid with my Dad and brothers. Our 2 daughters grew up with the same experiences and makes me proud to be a dad and do the same. I guess some day I’ll be a grandpa and our kids will follow as parents..... but this grandpa will put a turbo or blower on it...... just sayin. @nikkishine72 @kaylnico @boogey.person

So 4-27-1985 was 35 years ago today that I bought my first car when I was 14. It’s kinda like a birthday for my first child it feels like. Yup, I’m a dork. To continue my dorkdum I’m posting again this year. I don’t think I’ve shown my man diary as I kept a daily log of what I built and what I paid for parts. My social calendar wasn’t terribly busy I guess. Seriously I am stoked that I did write it all down and have those great memories of building my first hot rod. Today was weird. It’s been months since the house was taken care of. I met Mike Gaborno AKA Gabby back in the 80’s. Baddest punk band ever. Cadillac Tramps Mike and Kristen moved in 10 years ago. Gabby came by my garage one night and saw my posters, asked if I knew, I did. Didn’t think it would pass as quick as it did. I heard a whizzing sound today, it was Gabby spinning in his grave to see his house being put back together. Gabby passed too soon. If you don’t know of or heard....... listen to the music.
