Picked up by this NYT article, the SHINDIG team got emotional for the holidays this year (#2020), helping music supervise and license the publishing rights of Steve Winwood’s Higher Love for use in the HEB Shine spot. Working with some of our amazing female vocal talent, we then updated the song, putting our own powerful spin on it. Happy Holidays, everyone and be good to one another! SHINDIG gets into the holiday spirit, partnering with Wonderful Agency on this touching Christmas spot for Teleflora directed by the Malloys. We composed the original music for the spot opening, executed the sound design and final mix, and arranged and recorded this version of "Silent Night" for the neighbors to perform. And, despite the challenges Covid has presented, we consulted on set to ensure a solid on-camera singing performance, and with everything coming together s...o nicely, this really felt like a heart-warming collaboration, all around. We wish everyone a safe, happy holiday season and look forward to the new year.
