Dearest Shinano community, After 14 years, we’ve passed our beloved Shinano onto its new ownership, Monday 6/25/18. It has been an honor to serve you and we so appreciate the many years of love and support. ... When we inherited Shinano from the Hosozawas (the original owners) , one of the most apparent differences between Shinano and any other restaurant we’ve ever operated or worked in, was the incredible guests that truly loved the place we quickly called home. I always told our team, Shinano doesn’t belong to us, it belongs to all our guests. The community we all built together around great food and great people is truly some special kind of magic. It is with a heavy heart that we move into this next chapter of our lives. But we are ever grateful to you and the entire Shinano community. Shinano will re-open under new ownership in 2 months . We hope you will continue the traditions you found in the old Shinano , and discover new ones with many generations to come.
