Genesis 28- Jacob’s Dream- in the middle of Jacob’s journey, he has a dream. It was not visible with the natural eye, the natural world. What we feel and what we see going on around us is not what is happening in Heaven. We are living in a Jacob moment! Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it. Let’s refuse to fly blind, let’s refuse to feel something that is not real, something that is different than what God has determined to happen in our nation, in our world, in our culture, in our generation. We are going to start seeing things with our heart and dreaming the dreams of God for our life, for our nation, for our culture, and for our generation.

I am missing all of you! I must say, something is hovering and I can’t help but think we are so blessed to be chosen for such a time as this. As we think of the amazing love He brought to the world this Christmas, let’s be his hands and heart wherever we walk..miss you my hearts, merry wonderful Christmas, love, Linda L. Moyers

You’ll never appreciate God’s story if your story is what you focus on. Comprehending God’s story can go a long way toward addressing your problems, but the reverse will never be true!

The task ahead of us is never as great as the Power behind us.

God became man to turn creatures into sons: not simply to produce better men of the old kind but to produce a new kind of man. It is not like teaching a horse to jump better and better but like turning a horse into a winged creature. Of course, once it has got its wings, it will soar over fences which could never have been jumped and thus beat the natural horse at its own game. But there may be a period, while the wings are just beginning to grow, when it cannot do so: and at that stage the lumps on the shouldersno one could tell by looking at them that they are going to be wingsmay even give it an awkward appearance. CS Lewis So true!!! What may appear at first as awkward, even unsightly, will soon enable to soar!! Give us eyes to see the potential Lord!!!

Lay your burdens on God, not humanity, otherwise you will get humanity as your source of temporary relief, or fuel, or self pity. God will process those emotions into something beautiful, every time!!

The New Testament marks the rebirth of a struggle thousands of years in the making. When angels visit Mary and Zechariah to announce the impending births of Jesus and John, centuries of divine silence are broken. John the Baptist announced it. He introduced its king. Thirty years later, Judea will explode. Jesus preached its arrival and demonstrated what life in God’s Edenic world could and would be like: no disease, no infirmity, no demonic opposition. The kingdom of God est...ablished a permanent beachhead at the foot of the cross and the door of the empty tomb. Every church is a new pocket of resistance, every baptism another pledge of allegiance to the Most High, every celebration of the Lord’s Supper a denial of fellowship with lesser masters and a proclamation of the success of Yahweh’s mysterious plan!! We are in a cosmic battle. The lines are drawn. The stakes are high. The enemy desperate. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty to the pulling down of strongholds!!! It’s just a matter of time.

Arise and shine...- we only possess that which we arise to address. 1Kings 19- Elijah: Arisae and eat. Joshua 1:1- Arise and cross the river Jordan. David: the size of his opposition was smaller than his destiny! God is light. Light moves at 186,000 miles/second. And we are waiting on God? Hearing God’s voice is critical to teaching and critical to information, but obeying God’s voice is critical to transition and survival. Choose both. My future lies at the feet of... my decisions. Luke 15:11-32- prodigal son- I will arise... Genesis 16- Hagar- I’m done-Angel: Arise... When Hagar arose she saw a well in the desert. A quality decision is character in motion. Greater is He that is in me... Arise. Then you will shine.
