Faith doesn't mean trusting in God to stop the storm, its trust in God to be with us and strengthen us through the storm.

Congratulations to the Dodgers on their 7th World Series! For years this song has been played at Los Angeles Dodgers home games and reminds us of the beauty of our city along with some of the struggles of our city. This parody was produced in hopes to bring people together and to realize that this city is made up of all kinds of people and collectively, in our diversity, lies our true worth and value. We are better when we choose to love, rather than to divide and argue. Shepherd Church loves this city and we hope you do as well! Music: I Love L.A. by Randy Newman 1983 album - Trouble in Paradise

Struggling with mental health isn't evidence of a lack of faith, and asking for help doesn't mean you distrust God. Speaking openly about your mental health journey can inspire others to do the same.

Faces of Shepherd: Jisell Espinoza Q: Favorite Bible Verse A: Luke 9:23-24 ... Q: How long have you been at Shepherd? A: I’ve been at Shepherd since I was in kindergarten, so 14 years! Q: What’s one thing most people don’t know about you? A: I love having karaoke sessions in my car. Q: What’s the best advice you were ever given and who was it from? A: My mom has always told me, Keep your word, if you say you’re going to do something, do it! And I think this goes with the whole saying, Actions speak louder than words and it’s so important because your actions are what builds your character. Q: If you had to pick one age to be permanently, which age would you choose? A: I think I would want to be 26 permanently because you’re still considered young and who doesn’t love all the benefits of being young? Plus you’re still old enough to be respected. #facesofshepherd

None of us are perfect, however, we're perfectly designed by God to achieve the purpose He has in store for us.
