#Repost of our salon owner @shannonrha doing diamond shape foilayage & razor cut. @repostapp Diamond shape foilayage transforming her root touch up to a beautiful natural blonde using the teasing technique. I started with blondor 20 vol moving up to 30 vol with olaplex. After processing I rinsed, applied @olaplex #2 then shampooed. Then on towel dried hair I used redken shades 7N and 7NB equal parts just on her roots and let that sit for 10 min. I then applied redken shades 9NB and 9P equal parts all over. I finished with my signature razor cut.

Listen to the audio for an explanation of some different painting techniques. I used Wella Blondor with 30 volume and Olaplex. My absolutely favorite brush for blending it out is a cricket brush that I picked up at @cosmoprofbeauty. It has a firm side for pushing the product through and then you spin it around and use the softer paint brush-like side for blending! I still remember getting my hair colored for the first time! I also did a shadow tone with 8/0 & 9/16 ct at the roots and /86 Relights at the ends and hairline.
