To anyone who was wondering what rearching a spring is like...

This 1947 Chevy was 3" lower in the rear and the undercarriage was dragging on the pavement making it undrivable. It had it's original 9 leaf, 1 1/2" wrapped spring. We removed the leaf springs, re-arched and added 2 leafs and new bushings. This lifted the Chevy 3" and brought up the eight capacity an additional 1500 lbs.

This 2005 Chevy Workhorse P32 Food Truck was extremely overloaded by 4,000 lbs. The rear was 4" lower than the front and leaning 4" to the drivers side. Approximately 3000 lbs of the weight was on the drivers side. We added 7 leafs to the rear springs. The main leaf on the drivers side was broken. We made a heavier main leaf and a wrapper leaf. We also added 4 leafs to the front and installed new bushing, shackles and U bolts. Give me a call if you need any help with YOUR vehicle. 916-451-9126

A Restoration Garage contacted Hanley's requesting assistance on the Restoration of this 1936 Bugatti. The previous owners had removed the springs and had them nickel plated which ruined the structural integrity and temper in the springs. Not being able to locate replacement springs, the restoration garage found us and we MADE a set to the exact European metric measurements enabling the car to return to Concorde Classic Car Shows. This is probably the Rarest Vehicle we have ever worked on. The picture was taken in Ireland on one of the owners many "road trips"
