Kickstart your pole training with one of Pole & Dance's custom 5 session individualized training packages. These custom training programs come with an initial training assessment of your current pole level. From there, our Pole & Dance instructor team will build out conditioning, flexibility and tricks focused 5 week training plans based on your strength, tricks, dance and flexibility goals. This 5 week training program is $600 and includes a customized tra...ining plan sent to you in a spreadsheet, and five 1:1 sessions held in studio or over Zoom. Hi all! We’ve had questions about our new Choreography Technique class, which will replace choreo classes for the time being until cardio classes are approved as safe by the city. These classes will focus in depth in heels and dance technique and will give you an opportunity to really explore all of your favorite movements that you see show up in choreo class routines. Well look at 2-3 of the elements each class, learning their base form as well as a few variations. Then we’...ll put them together into small combos that will give you the chance to work on your flow and musicality and develop your own style! Super excited to announce that I’ll be teaching a 5 week series on Saturday mornings based on @sfpoleanddance Fluidity and Force heels weekend training. This 5-Week pole choreography series will emphasize learning eight different elements of hard-style heels choreography, what we call Force style of heels work. Over the course of this series, we will build a routine out of these 8 foundational, Force style elements to "...I'm Afraid of Americans" by David Bowie, learning two new Force style foundational elements per week along the following schedule: Week 1: Throws and Drop Splits Week 2: Fish Flops and Kips Week 3: Handstand Drops and Triple Spins Week 4: Rappel Spin and Arabesque Get Ups Each class will be divided into a 15 minute warm up, a 30 minute instructional focus on theory and practice of the week's two elements and 30 minutes incorporating those elements into a routine. During the 5th week, we will spend half the class ironing out any final detail finishing touches to perfect and polish the routine and then perform and film the choreography for each other - all from the comfort of our own homes. Each week, students will be given homework to work on their choreography once per week and prompted to submit choreography videos for individualized, 1:1 feedback with an emphasis on clean and polished technique. Class will be held every Saturday at 11:15am-12:30pm PST from November 7th - December 5th over Zoom. Price is $200 for the series. Link in bio. Hope to see you there!
