Please continue to utilize the SFIEC app for your schedule, lesson plans and activities. You all did amazing on Saturday! Great job! If you have any trouble with the app or coursekey, please email [email protected]. Our March 31st four day class will be rescheduled for April 14th. This will give us time to get back into the building and create a welcoming environment for our new class. We will be sending out enrollment agreement amendments for those of you who were scheduled to start. We are sorry to delay your start day; however, we are looking forward to having you join our SFIEC family and the best industry! Look for emails from financial aid and admissions. Hi SFIEC Future Professionals, SFIEC is implementing distance learning for the week, starting March 14th. We will be updating the app with distant learning opportunities so you can stay on track with your hours and operations. Learning leaders will be available during scheduled hours to check you in, answer questions and check your work.... Message the learning leaders thru the SFIEC app. Please take your kit and necessary tools home so you can perform operations. You’ll need a doll head and tripod if you are a COSMO or barber. Esthetics students, please grab a doll head from the garage or check one out for the week. All students need their iPad. If you do not have internet access at home for your iPad, you can come to school and use our WiFi. We will do our best to maintain our normal schedule. We will have Pow-wow at 8:30, with assigned class time for day students and 5:30 pow-wow for pm students. We will update you with any live classes. Course key will also be available for distance learning so you can track your hours. Be safe, stay healthy and keep watching the app for information on the distance learning schedule by class! Thank you for your patience and hard work. xo Deedee Sent from my iPhone Deedee Crossett SFIEC & Skin on Market

Dear Friends and Family of SFIEC, We are committed to our state board requirements and your health and safety. We are sanitizing door knobs, key boards, surfaces and client stations with disinfectant sprays and wipes. Our students are disinfecting tools according to the Board of Barbering and Cosmetology Rules and Regulations. Future professionals and team members are washing hands frequently and we have hand sanitizer available for all to use.... We have asked students and staff to stay home if they have a fever, sore throat or are experiencing any other flu like symptoms. All of our employees are eligible for paid sick leave. We kindly ask our clients to reschedule their appointments if they are feeling any flu like symptoms. Text 415.355.1734 to reschedule. Please remember, that the flu is nondiscriminatory. SFIEC and COVID-19 do not discriminate on the basis of gender, sexual orientation, race, economic status or religion. Be kind to one another. Racial profiling and bullying towards Asian people is becoming as wide spread as the virus. Anyone that chooses to wear a mask is doing so to protect themselves and others. At this time the CDC is not recommending masks for everyone; however, if clients, students and/or staff choose to wear a mask we will support them. This is a time to help one another stay healthy. Bullying anyone for their race, gender identity, sexual orientation, economic status or religion is not tolerated at SFIEC. Please let us know if you have any questions or comments. We appreciate your on-going support. Take good care, Deedee Crossett Dean and Founder
